still what was most interesting is that this is covered pretty well on the BBC and Aljazeera.net, but not at all on foxnews.com or cnn. msnbc carried a tiny link to an article about it on the homepage.

We, the UN, declare that this was illegal because the US told us to go piss up a rope and went ahead and did it anyway. There should have been a lot more resolutions. We propose a resolution stating our general grumpiness about this whole being irrelevant thing. And dont think we wont be putting in a resolution. Mad resolutionin skillz here at the UN, yo.

oh please people, as if anybody alive takes anything the UN says seriously. I mean come on.... Saddam blatantly pissed on the UN resolutions that for 12 years were placed meekly on his doorstep by Kofi and his ilk. For 12 years saddam brutalised, murdered and tortured his people while the UN sat by and made faux disapproving faces and painfully useless attempts at halting his 'illegal' activities. For 12 years he did this, for 12 years he stuck a finger up to the UN and they did nothing. For all we know they never would have done nothing had not the US decided to do something without them.

So now they expect us to listen to what they say all of a sudden. Well, sorry kofi. We are going to take a leaf from Saddam's book and smile knowingly while we flip you the finger. Happy in the knowledge that there is nothing you will do about it you corrupt little man.
