Good news is............

I get to go to Dublin next month for my work.

Bad news is.........

They want me to wear a suit.

Any advice? I've got no fucking idea, really, no fucking idea. A dark blue number? Try and get away with a dark pair of jeans and a sports jacket?

Where do you buy a fucking suit, C&A?

God, you're in a different cuntie! Ermm, by your shit in Dublin. Hit 'Next' if you're on a budget and get yourself a decent suit for little dollar, maybe for €170 you'd get the whole kit and kaboodle.

Men's Warehouse, if they have them there. I'm sure they have something similar. It's easy. Buy something cheap and have it tailored.

You're gonna have to "get someone to make it fit you" regardless. Since it seems that you don't really want a suit at all, yeah get a cheap one. If you're of the mind that, "Gee, this is a good excuse to get some nice duds" get a better one.

Dark gray is much better than blue, by the way. Far more versatile, so you'll only have to get one.

If you are in IT, go to a thrift store and buy something used and hideous. It is about all that is expected of you and could be done here for less than $10.

If you are going to buy a new suit, get a nice one that is pretty basic (since you basically never wear one get something that isn't high fashion or season specific or anything like that. You'll have a nice suit for those rare occasions when you need one and it'll last a long time). If you want to try to get away without a suit, you should buy a sport coat and trousers and wear a tie. Its a step down from a suit, but I hardly think anyone notices anymore (and will almost cost as much anyways).
