So, the psychic says...
My mom's boyfriend informed me today that a psychic on the radio said that "Jeanne," the storm that is currently bouncing around in the Atlantic that the weather services have no idea what to expect from, is going to be the major bad-ass storm, that comes ashore and does massive damage from Virginia all the way up to New York.
The 5 main weather services that produce the computer models, and who normally agree on the general path of a storm, seem to have no idea what this one is going to do. None of them are in agreement on this storm:
Anyone else hear mention of this psychic prediction?
Anyone care to make a "landfall pool" and predict where this storm is going?
As it stands right now, it seems our guess is as good as theirs.
(this is surely a sign that the end of the world is near!)

dude i am looking at that nice graphic you have there and although the different models each show a differing storm path.... Not a single one of them passes through either virginia nor new york.
Obviously that 'psychic' was about as accurate as that 'Roolex' watch my mum bought in turkey.
My guess is that the storm will go a bit north... Hook to the east a bit, then go a bit north... Take out Wyoming and finish off by demolishing Alaska. There will be massive death tolls all across america. The sky will rain blood and every first born male in the country will develop a hare lip.

If psychics are really real, how come you never read about them winning the lottery or stuff like that?

The picture I linked automatically updates itself. I probably should have saved and attached it to show how the computer models keep changing drastically. Oh well

So far I'm not impressed with any chances of Jeanne really picking up a lot of strength before landfall.

The current infrared sat. image shows what appears to be some pretty strong shearing of the storm occuring right now. There is also a high pressure system parked over the east coast which could impede any northward track. Jeanne is forcasted to regain hurricane strength by tomorrow, but I doubt it gets much stronger than a Cat 2 storm before landfall.

I think it should hit the Carolinas. Florida and the Gulf already got nailed.

But, WHERE is it going to hit? That's what nobody seems to have any clue about.
And there are two more storms right behind it.
So, if these storms run into each other, what would happen? Do you think they'd bounce off each other, or combine to make one big ass-kicking for the east coast?

Jeanne has been stalled out for two days now. Showing some interesting structure (big ol' goatse of an eye) Ivan is back like last night's bad pizza.
Oooohrah.

The east coast sucks anyway. With any luck it'll fall off into the ocean.
