Pay day in two!

And now I'm torn about what game to invest in, beyond HL2. So many games, so little time.
I want to be a teenager again. Actually it pains me to think I have been wasting my teenage years waiting for games to load.

Need more traps.

I rebuilt the lab about 6 times last night.
I'm researching crap like crazy trying to get some new traps.
WTF is with the "confusing pop up" shit.
Nowhere near as fun as slamming agents into steel doors with jet engines.

Yeah, no one has triggered my turbine trap yet except one of the drones who shouldn't have been in my inner sanctum anyway, thats what you get for snooping.

Not got a lab yet, only just getting the other criminal masterminds to the table.

Generating enough workers who will plot and hatch diabolical schemes is a pain, they are getting caught by the rozzers as soon as I turn my back.

I have a kinda z shaped hallway near the entrance with turbines on either end, poison gas in the middle, and a few doors for good measure.
When an agent either enters the base or finally makes it to that hallway trying to escape, they usually get blown back and forth the length of the hallway either triggering the gas cage, or slamming into a door. 99.7% never make it past that hallway.

But the burrowing fuckers are pissing me off.

There's some rough spots till you get over 40 workers.
after that it gets easier to throw 10 or 15 out into the world for some cannon fodder.

BTW, check your stats when you get a chance. I looked last night and had been responsible for something like 290 agents killed.
probably 200 of those are the result of my z shaped hallway.

I am wondering if the burrowing agents have to appear in the occupied area nearest the edge of the base they enter. So, if I create a trap infested corridor spanning the circumfirance of the base, I might be cured of this infestation?

Hadn't considered that.
I kinda thought they were just popping up where they wanted, as most end up in my inner sanctum or lab. I'm usually busy elsware when they start digging so they catch me by surprise.

I can already see the design for my next lair.

I don't think you can demolish corridors like you can rooms, so that might cause a problem with reconfiguring your current base.
