Well, throw away yer Nag Hammadi!
I don't know why I never looked this up before, but there are tremendous online resources for early Christian writings that seem to include just about every piece of apocryphal and apccalyptic writing of the early church I can think of, as well as writers of history and philosophy contemporary to the early Church. There is also a page of early Jewish writings that includes much of the Pseudepigrapha found in books like The Other Bible that I imagine more than a few of you have a copy of. As if that weren't good enough, I found yet another page that I could spend a year reading and not tire from. It is titled, e-Catena: Compiled Allusions to the NT in the Ante-Nicene Fathers . I haven't read this stuff in years very intensely, but just seeing it all in one place and online gave me reader's wood of a sort.
