I got my honey this ring to replace the ring she's had for all the years we've been married. It's the biggest thing I ever got her as far as jewerly.
The diamonds on her current ring is tiny in comparison.
Maybe I just want to let my inlaws know were doing ok,but it felt good being able to afford that.

I am lucky, I guess. My gf said to me yesterday, "You better not buy me a Christmas present. I SERIOUSLY do not want anything for Christmas."

And, she means it, too.

Though, our anniversary is on the 29th, so I guess I don't get away all that easily. Then again, she doesn't want anything for that, either...except to be taken out to dinner. Gah.

Get something anyhow, flo, and just don't give it if you think that she really meant it (which is a decision that you can make on the day). You can always give it at some future date*.

No meat for her, she's a vegetarian.

I gave her a present today and that'll do. I paid her admission to the motorcycle show. She enjoyed herself there. All is right with the world.
