Yes, he wrote that book, among many. He was somewhat revolutionary, I believe, in applying the same scientific principles he learned as a zoologist to humans.
He also noted that many people might understandably feel uncomfortable even reading his book (let alone talking about it, as has been shown here).
His boldness ought to be embraced, not feared. My starting post was a rather emotional reaction to Morris's forthrightness, and is understandable (to me) in hindsight, although, I see how it might have put a lot of people off, and I understand to some extent why this thread was so quick to derail as it so needfully did. However my faith in the genuine curiosity of asylumnites the world over shall not waver. Humans are a species that deserve an entire thread all to themselves, even in Asylumland.
