Rockstars again

Thumbnail screens would make it easier to view them for intersting ones. Also you switch between where the Next and Back buttons are once in a while which is confusing.. Great pics though...

I haven't seen Johnny Winter since 1988 in a show with his brother and Greg Allman at the Bronco Bowl in Dallas, and he remains one of my favorite artists of all time.

I did catch Neil Young that same year at the Bronco Bowl, and as it turns out, one of the best shows he ever put on according to whoever decides those things. It was good, anyway, and apparently that was a consensus among folks who'd seen him many times.

But I wanna see JOhnny Winter again.

ditto all that. maybe makin it look like a contact sheet or somethin. however, the slide show has its own merits, so long as you fix the buttons.

the concert pics are awesome, morg. do you get all access or somethin, or first row to all these?

Yeah- i get press passes to all the shows. all the pictures have been taken legally.

I know the current set up sucks. im working on developing a better site- i just have shitty HTML skillz

It wasn't all that great of a show. JW was so high on something that he had to be helped in and out of stage.

Once he was on, he just stood still in a position that looked like he had made big in his pants, and the only thing that moved on him throught the entire show, was his mouth and fingers. The rest of him just stood there.

There was no "life" in his playing like I remembered from his albums - it was just like he was a machine playing a preprogrammed set of songs.

hot, blue and righteous is my favorite slow zz tune, I think

my favorite JW tune is anything off the s/t LP that has "Dallas" and "I'll drown in my tears", which is also my favorite blues tune ever and my favorite version of that tune.
