Most of the apartment complexes in or around downtown are of the 20 unit variety. There aren't very many places that contain much more than that.





One of the high rises under construction looms over these little guys. One day Orlando may have a real skyline.


This is The Waverly $1500 a month for 600 sq ft.


I believe this is The Vue. Also of considerable cost.


This used to be a colonial style neighborhood. Most of the streets are named after colonial era ranchers. A lot of homes have been turned into businesses.


Fancy neighborhood restaraunt. Damn good and exotic food.


The owners have a lot of realty space. I don't know how much these places cost, but they're, no doubt, spendy.

This is Ghandi overlooking Lake Eola (Ebola). The drainage from the street empties there. There are other busts, but the light was terrible, so I couldn't get a good shot.

Continuing the journey we find ourselves at the edge of downtown. The concrete building is the library. That's where I voted.


Looking the other way is a church.




Pine St Bar is nice and chill. The music sucks and the bartender pours weak drinks, but I always find myself going back. It's the most calm atmosphere in the area, I think.

There's a park between the main road (Orange Ave) and the library.






You can play music with these things. They light up when you put your hand on the handprint.




Wall Street has a strip of bars and restaraunts.

Orange Avenue. Tabu is the club on the right with the sign. Booty dancing and dumb people galore.


Indepentant Bar. All the alternateens go here. Easily the best bar in Orlando.
