had some friends over for dinner

I like to have people over for Sunday dinner. It's the perfect end to the weekend / start of the week. Typically I'll cook the main course, my neighbor will make cocktails, someone else brings the wine, someone else brings dessert.

So, today my friend Sol and his girlfriend Christina stopped by, and my neighbor Chris, and of course, Bernadette.

First we had assorted cheeses (port salut, raclette, and some kind of bleu cheese) and cocktails. Chris (my neighbor) made the drinks.

Between courses.

We had salad with all kinds of goodies in it...romaine & spinach, red onion, peppers, cucumbers, feta, tangerines, & walnuts.

The main course was quiche with spinach, tomaters, garlic, and mozzerella.

Later we played pictionary, which we had to borrow from Bernadette because I have no games.

Nor any game, for that matter. But that's another thread altogether.

Here, Christina is pouting because we made fun of her drawing ability.
