Woops

I know I stopped by the other day to say hello and shit like that. Sure I was a bit tweaked that some of you freaked. It's all cool though. Anyway on to the meaning of this post. Anti stopped by SPF tonight and we had a few rounds of this and that. Really made me think of the old days at SPF. Was good fun.. Even though I am SPF admin I didn't ban him, because it was great fun. Ahhh the old days. I am drunk. Have a great day/night/morning everyone... Keep it up..

In any case, Toady, I think you misread the thread. Nobody really "freaked". Just wondered why you happened to pop up all of a sudden. All were glad to see you in any case. Certainly myself.

As far as SPF goes, yeah, I check in about once every other week. Tonight happened to be the night, and I saw Anti doing what Anti does best. Good shit. Funny.

It's like garycoleman here. It still amazes me that people let him get to them.

The Old Days. Yeah, good times. But, as in all things, times have changed. I still enjoy SPF. I admit it. There is a certain feel for the place that cannot be duplicated. I respect, and enjoy, that.

However, the community is what kept sucking my free time. I didn't go there for the countless flames and newbies. I went there for the regulars, the intelligent discussions, that sort of thing.

When it moved, so went I.

But, as I said, SPF is still a great place. Personally, just requires a certain frame of mind from me that I am rarely in these days.

In any case, good to see Anti. Good to see you.

Good to see two board where we can all still hang out (virtually speaking of course).

Did I mention I was drunk?

I can understand your motives P_C.. Personally i miss you and others there just for the fact that you could always rip assholes, and also knew it was for sport and fun. That was always fun. I hang there because it is a vent and I love being a mod.. I mod another forum that is work realted and I have to be all professional there and shit like that. So when I get really bent I go to SPF and do my thing. I won't lie. i love being an admin there. It's still great fun, and I don't plan to leave, even if I get kicked out, which I doubt as it seems I am a bit of an unwanted icon there. Anway good to see you and the others again. Maybe one day we can all get togeather in forum mode again.

all the oldbies turned up again because that email that went out reminded them - gypsy, toady, exodus came out of the music form too.

I have yet to find absinth or Jimi D, well i know where i can find Jimi occassionally... I miss the oldbies.

Its is good to see you and sometimes SPF is fun too, and the whole thing does have a kind of aura about it, that here misses. The intelligence is here though, and its where I'll spend most of my time.

Hey TR! I've almost missed that pseudo Moby pic.
I checked the SPF for the first time in months a few days ago. It seemed full of kidlets enjoying sanctioned swearing online.
Actually, that was possibly just fiend.
Either way, I found it a bit trite. At least posters here respond to threads with more than a random insult.
I'm pissed off I missed the Antiantics though.

Two differnt worlds for sure, but I am in forums for fun, not to be serious, so SPF fits me to a "T" I spent all night switching Mods. I spend os much time working deals, and actually thinking that sometimes I need a place to just be a complete dick head. That is why i don't come here often, I know I should actually post something of meaning here. Sorry , no can do in my free time. Oh yeah, I think I kicked a little of the freaking in, sorry, TR. I was just bein all fucked up and having fun. I thought it would be interesting to see how well people read.
Go back and read what I wrote, a perfectly harmless sentence unless read fast then it casts a different light.
Our resident IRA, Pangloss, read intrigue into it (of course, here is a guy that doesn't get into ANY motor vehicle without first sticking his fingers in his ears and kicking said vehicle to see if it will blow up, which is the method he learned as part of his Dublin Bomb Squad and Pub Patrol duties).
He would have openly censured for his rash comments but I wasn't in any condition (post surgery, pain pills, fuckeded up stuff)to have to wade through one of his long, drawnout flame/rants and look at his 'finger' ipg.
Hopefully, he is too busy stirring up insurrection at Mad Mick's School of Pubtending or whatever center of higher leatrning they have over there in Eire where he is a Phd/Professor type, to notice any of this as I am still all fuckeded up.
