I have no idea how many channels I might get on broadcast - I've never turned the TV on to find out. Can't be bothered with cable.

That wasn't broadcast, it's basic cable.

Broadcast I now get about 3 channels, because all the antennas were on the WTC, and I guess they're not worth replacing now.

the ones with an X through them mean I don't subscribe to the channel.
I only subscribe to showtime and the movie channel(these 2 channels come together as a package) so that I can get "Queer As Folk".
As soon as this season of the series is over(this is the last season), I'll be getting rid of those.
We don't watch enough TV to bother paying for extra channels.

I pay about the same cause I like Disney channel and Nickelodeon. I also like the cartoon network and animal planet. Then there's discovery and that how to make your home look like no one lives there show and that your a fucking pig show, throw everything away,Then there's that sci fi channel that kinda rules and all those wonderful evalangelical channels that help me fall asleep.
But I benefit more from my Broadband.

I just got a cable box in my bedroom.
1000 channels.
The cute latino guy who installed it even "forgot something" and had to come back, and offered to do a lot of extra work.

DVD's are much better for that sort of thing...........allegedly, ahem, obviously I have no experience of this myself, I was told it by some bloke down the pub, so it must be true.

Great thread! I added what they're showing now.

DR1 - Danish crime drama

TV2 - Who wants to be a millionaire

Kanal København - Some dude is in Germany and reads from a paper, wow here comes a lot of German women playing spanish guitars outside restaurant Garküchen. Funky!

TVDanmark - The Bachelor. All these girls have scars in their fucking faces.

Sverige 1 - Swedish drama about gays playing football. They get into trouble. Oh noes, here comes the token drunk Dane to borrow money.

Sverige 2 - Science show about huge extinct beasts. Yay!

Sverige 4 - Swedish entertainment sports quiz show. It's one of those where people are expected to turn their answers into a joke or a humorous anecdote. Ouch, not funny.

Wow, maybe I should turn this thing on some more.

No.
It's a sattelite channel.

But if I had, I could be watching E. R. right now.
I'm trying to cope.
