noone of the eastereggs work for me. so no flight simulator , photos of the mircosoft team or secert messages for . i was even too dumb to hear the seceret message when you played that certain song backwards. what was it ? beatles, stones , micheal jackson ? uhm perhaps my puter is just not into the whole easter thingy maybe it is a buddhist or something , who know. let me search for shiva hey, that is avihs (avis ?, paint) backwards , now , what a surprise. well i ll have a martini (init ram??)
press strg+alt+del , funny easter egg aswell , makes windows do the only usefull thing (dont try that at home)

now , back to work ...

Arrow Secret government code put in windows applications!

To hear this secret code you must have winamp.
Steps to hear secret code:

1. open up winamp
2. click add file
3. instead all supported types select all files
4. find win word
5. add that file
6. turn the speakers up all the way
7. Hit play.

hmm .. could you be more specific as to the file? In the I386 dir/ I found a winword.doc, and a winword2.doc, but neither of them played anything. I think you're pulling my leg maybe?

It says that winword.exe is 2:36 seconds long, but it won't play. Am I supposed to use a .doc?

He's referring to the actual executable file...the Word program, itself. It's probably in C:\Program Files\Microsoft Office or some such directory. Or you can go Start|Find|Files or Folders and type in "winword.exe"

Don't kill yourselves. It's just a kind of white noise-ish sounding thing.

It is a cool idea, though. I'd never thought of trying to play other file types.
