phorbs, I'm not a believer in anything much, but I try to explore any and all ideas and at least be open to discussing the beliefs and ideas of others, so thanks for the links -- I will enjoy them. when do I see magic? in kids who are innocent enough to see magic, joy, and wonder in the world around them.

its fun stuff mouse.

I'd like to hear what anyone who knows me thinks about me being "new moon alder" after reading that link though. It’s shameful really

There are scientific and logical reasons for such thing that can atleast be pondered. Certain stimuli via season, temperature, lunar effects (such as that of tides) synapse, neurons, axons and dendrites...and such all working together in different ways making us unique, and similar, a little chaotic and a little conformed. Perhaps? We are machines yes? Or a sitcom for the gods.
Who knows, maybe we should start worshiping Thor and Mars.
Oh wait, I wanna worship Bacchus / Dionysus!
I suggest we do it nekkid...and drunk.
