So really, this is just purely Congress intervening in one particular case. I'm not sure that's actaully better than if it were intended to set precedent...at least then Congress would be setting law and policy, which--I thought--is their job. I'm not sure what business Congress has in stepping in to intervene in this one case.

I like the story, and I think I understand its point. Are you saying it is germane because Congress is overstepping its delegated powers in its actions regarding Terry Schiavo?
