I did the same not too long ago. I used those white hoses to replace the old copper tubes. Then I realised that my swamp cooler used to tap into this line. But I can't do it cause it's a rubber hose now. So Home Depot I went and this old man helped me get all these connectors so I can tap it once again. I had to remove the original spicket and replace it with a three way. Then the thread was too big so I had to get a reducer. Then another valve so I can turn it off when winter approaches. Then to add to misery it fucking leaked so slowly but there was this puddle the next day. So back I went to get some of that white thread tape. I had to undo everything and wrap it all up in all the threads. But it's ok now. But it fucking sucked.

Yes, really large and really crappy too. Also a rather evil employer if the dozen or so wage slaves I've spoken to over the last couple of years can be believed.
