Actually, I am considering another trip there this winter. It should cost about $1000 for a week for two with first class air included. It's what the Aruban travel authority refers to as the "Dead Chick Discount". What are the Dutch if not merchants?

Natalee Hollway's family say that if the three suspects are released, they are themselves going to spill some information, that is supposedly unpleasant. I would imagine that it's sexual in nature, if it's not prosecutable. Or maybe how they got her drunk, or something like that.

I don't fully understand the CNN approach to this. They always seem to want to be criticising the Aruban system and police, but they know very well that people go missing here in the US all the time, too. It just seems like another case of 'STOP THE PRESSES! ATTRACTIVE WHITE GIRL GOES MISSING!!!' It's gained its own momentum; it's news because it's news.
