US visa application - DENIED
quote: Dear Visa Applicant;.
We are sorry to inform you that at this time it has been determined that you are ineligible for a
nonimmigrant visa under -Section 214(b)of the United States immigration and Nationality Act....
This section of US law is by far the most common grounds for denying visa applications. It
states that in order to qualify for a tourist, business, or student visa, you must satisfy the interviewing consular officer that you intend to return to Israel after your stay in the United
States. Based on the information yqu presented at today's interview, the consular officer was not
satisfied that your social and or economic conditions in Israel constitute compelling ties to bring
you back after a temporary visit. It was for this reason that your application was denied.
Please note that this is not a permanent ineligibility. You may apply for a nonimmigrant visa at a later time if you can provide compelling new evidence of your ties to Israel. Unless you failed to
present informatIon at the time of this interview that might have satisfied the interviewing officer
of your intention to return,we reconimend that you not apply for a visa for at least six months, and then only if your current economic and/or social situation has changed sufficiently to
improve your chances of visa issuance.
Sincerely,
Consular.Officer.

i had tentative plans to come to the U.S in september, but i was worried about the stingy visa policy.
today my fears have been confirmed, so i guess its time to make some new plans. whats frustrating about this is that i was really focused on making this trip - it was the basis for everything i did, the thing for which i saved my money.
i suppose this is a sign, that it wasnt meant to be. maybe when im older.
