Happy Independence Day (4th of July)
I would like to take this opportunity to wish every American a Happy Independence Day (4th of July) and also to wish a hardy "Better Luck Next Time" to the British.
I will be cooking out, BBQ ribs, hamburgers, hotdogs, and the whole works. I'll also be staying off the roads as much as possible avoiding the Drunks on the Highways and hopefully living to see the 4th next year.
What will you all be doing this weekend?

Right now we are on vacation, Smokey Mountain Range. We were going to visit my parents for a bit, and did, but my daddy turned out to be a royal ass, so that went to hell.
Right now we have a most beeeeautiful suite we have been staying at and will be here til Sunday and then slowly making our way back to NY. We plan on traveling on the 4th to avoid the bulk of the traffic, hoping everyone will be busy and off the highway. *for the most part*
Hope to catch some fireworks in Virginia.

I'll be working.
It will suck. I won't even be working the evening shift so I can watch the fireworks the shopping center sets off.

I'll be BBQing steaks, drinking beer, and firing off tons of mortars to entertain family and the rest of the neighborhood. I usually put on the best show on the block.

I've broken this weekend up into a (3) parter to completely enjoy every moment I have away from the overlords of work!
I began part (1) of my weekend yesterday (Saturday) by sleeping until almost noon and then went to the Grocery store and spent a lot more money than I planned on. You name it I got it. I then went back home and took a nap then I got up around 5:00pm and watched movies until almost 3:00am. I'm off to a damn good start on my weekend of no commitments and uber-laziness. 108 degrees was the high but the new AC unit kicks ass and will freeze you out.
Part (2) today started with getting up early and walking a mile with my dog Annie at around 7:00am it was 99 degrees at 8:00, whats up with that shit. We both however enjoyed the walk despite the oncoming heat. Annie loves going for walks, she truly loves acting like an unhinged fool and chasing Tennis ball's. I went back home and went back to bed. I am going to get some more stuff at the store in preperation for the big cookout tomorrow. More movies tonight and probably play ball with Annie for a while once it cools down. It's 103 right now going up to 110 later today.
Part (3) The only thing thats certain about the 4th is that there will be a cookout at my landlords place and the expected high temperature is gonna be 112 degrees. Matter of fact it's supposed to be near or above 110 degrees everyday for the next 4 weeks until the rains start near the end of July (Start of Monsoon Season). Anyway it's a hot mofo.
Happy 4th Ya'll

4b, I'm assuming this is hot Jamaican type jerk flavor?
What a coincidence......I'm also doing a little short term plan (1 year) stuff this weekend and actually studying just a little bit for my SQL (Structured Query Language) test. Improving ones self is easy it just takes a little effort.

I'll be working but it doesn't suck so I don't care. Fireworks in the next town over.

Spent the weekend alone at the farm watching old (very old) videos and reading an anthropology text about Navajo indians and their culture. Very satisfactory fourth. The neighbors about a quarter mile south had a big fireworks display. More of same tomorrow on the fourth. I did can 10 pints of tomatoes so I can have soup this winter. May can ten more tomorrow if I feel energetic.

I just walked outside with Sarah to scare the deer outta the watermelon patch. The tomatoes are loaded with ripe ones. I'll pick blackeyed peas tomorrow as well. There were two eggs in the chicken pen, but they're completely outta water. Remind me to fill those up tomorrow.
I'd like to go see Charlie Brown. He's gonna have to have a feedin tube put in soon, cause he's aspiratin everything he tries to swallow. I'd also like to run see Jerry and make kissyfacegoogootalk if possible. But first, I'll pick blackeyed peas and maters.
I must sleep now.
