If it were me, it wouldn't be an issue. If there's that much going against the idea of dating her, and she's not shown any interest in you, then don't make it an issue. Of course, the only big issues in my view are that she's dating someone else and she's your coworker. (Age, baggage, and kids, while they matter, aren't really deal-breakers to me.)

But then, that's just me. And look how far it's gotten me.

The issues of age and kids and shit aren't a deal breaker if she's actually worth it. It's just a general guide I use. The deal breaker is the relationship thing. I can't make a move against a chick with a man.

I just have this thing where I overanalyze a situation until it drives me insane.

Three times in my program staff relations end in marriage. Three fucking times. Then they never told us about even them going out due to our nepotism laws very much like SP's agency it seems.
Just have fun every day,SP. Just enjoy the fun. These things just happen,or not,whatever.
Another staff/good friend of mine got mixed messages with another staff. Even went out on a date. She was really only teasing,but he was serious. Anyway,she quit her job but then came back to say hi and gained a lot of weight and was engaged to the ugliest man I ever met. The dude later ended up marrying a program manager older than him but I don't know just how much older. You would never believe these two were together if you knew them. He's white,she's black. He's into country and phish,She's into R&B and soul. He's young,goofy and childish,She's professional and pretty hot in a woman suit. She's gone from my job now but my buddy is still here and their still married. It just works out for them.
And one relationship the woman divorced her man over the staff person.
And just recently too another female staff is seeing one of the transportation drivers. Their engaged as well.
Who knows,SP. Who knows.
