i got this piece of shit a month ago. its a 92 cavalier to replace my old worn out love of my life...the first car i ever bought. i would have gotten a newer car but i wasnt sure if i was going to be staying here or not so i got something cheap that i figured would last the winter if it had to.

so far in one month the wheel cylinders, and the serp belt have had to be replaced and now the alternator decides to go tits up. its cost me as much to fix as i paid for it and its only been a month. now i have to think about getting the heater core cleaned out so it blows properly before it gets really cold...another 100 bucks.

FUCK!

I'm rather pleased with my toyota. It's a little gutless though. The extra cab trucks shouldn't have 4 cylinders in them.

I got a 92 cavalier wagon. My son uses it now and the heater thing is a common problem with these cars. Blower works,no air coming out,right?
Go under your glove box and open that assembly up from there. You should find a plastic
flap probably out of alignment or even broken. Move it the other way. At least you'll get heat or fix it if you want controls.

Oh. And Checker or AutoZone will be your new friends. Get lifetime warranties for every major part and if it breaks again,no money out of pocket except your labor.
This goes for Alternators,brake pads and all kinds of other parts.
