Recommended RSS readers

I suspect that Linux users don't need advice and I have Mac OS X covered, but I don't have the faintest idea what the best RSS readers are for Windows. Also, beyond bloglines, are there other aggregator sites that I should be aware of?

I'm asking just because I want to be able to write a brief intro to RSS for those who know nothing about it. Any essential information you think would help my grandma understand it would be appreciated.

but there are some really badass ones for windows that are free on freshmeat.net

There are also the built in RSS reader in Thunderbird and Sage for Firefox.
