Windows server chmod settings ( reprise )
So I talked my boss into using this provider, and forgot that it's a fucking windows server. ( damn, damn, damn, damn )
It appears that I can "chmod" via the user control panel, but only directories.
I can ask them to "chmod" single files, in fact I just have done, waiting for them to wake up, go to work and reply.
What do I need to ask them for to be able to do this myself, "shell access" or something?
I remember I used to get me systems admin to use putty, or something, to fix up my unfixable fuck ups, ah, those were the days.
