Geneology can unearth some fascinating stories. My uncle Clint, who died last year, spent several years researching the origins of our family in this country, and found a few fascinating characters, like Sean O'Malmaucherche, who founded the family on this continent. He took the name Early because, as he is alleged to have claimed, "They will have to get going damned early in the day if they mean to catch me." They never did.
