Oh Kay. I no they gots them sound cameras that dew this. There's one on ebay under 100 bucks but the thing is made in Taiwan. I just want to make video's I can share but without sound it sucks. So with limited(actually know) outlay cause I'm saving for a trip this summer and an important os upgrade to Tiger, I need to no if there be another way. I no I have a microphone on my Mac although I've never known how to use it and my camera takes movies but know sound.
Is there like a 50 dollar alternative? It must be Mac compatible and it would be cool if I can take it outside.

If you have a camcorder with a usb port it has a firewire port. This is not a varaible. Video moves best through firewire. open imovie. Plug your fucking camera into your goddanm toy computer and download your video.
in order to upload it to the internerd you will need to compress it... jesus.

you can by an analougue to digital converter for about 100$. this will allow you to use your current camcorder. or you could just by a cheap 1 chip cam, they have pretty good image quality, and you can get them for around 200.00 usd.

Does your Video Camera have a Firewire or iLink or IEEE1394 connector? If so, then just record what you want on the camera, then import, edit, and export with iMovie.

You can also record directly into iMovie with a firewire webcam. You can get an iBot for less than $100 and surely they are available used for more than that. You need Firewire for this though, not a usb cam.

If nothing else, tell us what model your video camera is.

It's a Quasar Model VM-L152 It was my son's and he left it in the rain and the battery dosen't charge and it's dry now so it should work but I need to get a battery for it I hope it dosen't cost too much.
