Your whole "I dress like an office drone and act respectable and then sit on forum where we discuss urethra fucking and public torture" bit still creeps me out. I bet it would creep out your co-workers even more.

Thanks one and all. I had a good 29th birthday.
I spent most of my time during the long weekend either hiking in Red Rock Canyon in Nevada . . . .
Helluva neat place. I've been there numerous times. Have you made it up to Mt. Charleston? Valley of Fire State Park? Cathedral Gorge State Park? Also, that drive through Rainbow Canyon is absolutely gorgeous. I could go on 'n' on and I highly recommend 'em all. My favorite hangout, though, is over in Death Valley N.P. It's surreal and breathtaking. If you get a chance, take a slow drive through Titus Canyon. The turnoff is just past Rhyolite, which is an incredibly interesting ghost town just outside of Beatty.

I drove through Valley of Fire completely on accident. I wanted to see where the road leading away from the fireworks stand went. Turns out it leads to one more of the deserts hidden gems. As for Charleston, I wasn't too impressed. Too many people on that big mountain.
