Internet Explorer / Folders

I have a question about my computer (duh) that I , obviously, can't figure out myself.

When I bring up IE ( I know, IE sucks, yadi yadi yada ) and scroll down the page of whatever I'm on, you can see it "layer" down, and up the page. Also, when I open up a folder on my computer it does the same as IE, and I can't figure out how to fix this problem.

If it helps any, and I'm probably going to get shit for this, but my computer is an

AMD Athalon XP 1800+
1.50GHz
256 MB of RAM.

I can get whatever other info needed if asked.

Thanks.

you only have 256 MB of ram. My older Mac does that when my memory or whatever is almost used up. My main computer with 1024 MB did stuff like not wanting to play u tube sites and stuff like what you are experiencing until I cleaned out like 40 gigs. Wait. It's not Ram then. It's like...gigs. Then everything went smooth again. Even my older one is smooth as well now.
So then that means you should clean out your shit...don't get another OS in there cause then it would eat up your...gigs. Yea. Gigs.

Large Fillipino--Lol. It bugs the piss out of me.

Macker---I kind of figured that.

Zim---What laser?

Large Fillipino---Well seeing as I, just like two days ago, reformatted my cpu, I doubt I have to clean out my "gigs"

Zim---Being tested? Tested for what?

If it had something to do with my RAM, then wouldn't it have been doing it before I reformatted my computer?

Looks like you have too many A's in your processor. Get rid of those and you should be fine.

Fubar---I agree. But with low cash funds, I can't really do anything about it.
Wanna make a donation to Jeff's New Computer Fund?

Large Fillipino---You're no help. Lol, jk. My computer was working fine until I reformatted my computer, then it started doing this shit, and it's really pissing me off.

Well, you either haven't installed the correct display drivers for you graphics card or you enabled extra eye candy on the reinstall that's slowing things down.

Are you using an onboard vidcard or a PCI\VGA? If you are using a PCI, and you have a motherboard that's very old at all, you may need to make sure you have an empty PCI slot on either side of the video card. And make sure the card is pushed in all the way. I mean really lean on it because sometimes those things need convincing.

Also, which OS are you running? If it is WinXP, and you let it install the drivers it thinks are best, you probably got a generic driver that doesn't work so well with your card. Try installing drivers from the install disk or download new ones. Also try uninstalling any antivirus software and see if that helps.

If you're running Win2000 or earlier, you should uninstall your computer and re-install a MAC. MAC's are virtually idiot proof.
