Fansub's!

Hey all! Boy its been a busy week, Chantrea and I have launched a new website dealing with anime fansub's. We are 4 days old, have 92 users, and 10 gigs of a 40 gig drive filled already with user submissions and a Generous quantity of Chantrea's private stash *SHE RULES* So thought I would just drop a note to come check us out if your into the anime scene

hrm. this "point" system is kinda geared towards the fanatic, don't you think? i understand you need people to share their files, but unless you have files to share with people already, you only get one free sample from each catagory, and two free points from the outset. what about people like me, who don't have an extensive library of anime? that's why i would go to your site in the first place, right? what happens when i spend all day looking on the internet to find something to "trade" for more points, only to find out that you've already got it, so it's worth nothing? i think that it's a good idea, and good site, for people who already have an extensive library of anime...which kind of defeats the purpose a bit.

Hey Morgana
THe points system was put into place to hopefully prevent the site from becoming a leech site for fansubbed anime, I definatly see your point that if you upload alot you will have more points to download a series, but we have also been trying to put in new ways to get points other than uploading. For example we have the poll system, and also the submit a description. All fansubs when they are posted are giving a pretty generic description, if you add a desc you get awarded points for that description. We are going to look into other ways of giving out points to download other than uploading, cause truthfully I want everyone to be able to get what they want. I hope that sounds resonable?

Thanks Wonderaz, things have been going better than I could have ever believed, we posted our 60th file to trade last night, and added our 100th+ user, hehe the e-commerce site I work on for work took two months to do that and they spent 11 million to develope it, just goes to show you what three weeks, some determination and a goddess that has more anime than japan can do
