Elk and moose is the same thing. Why most Swedes would translate moose to elk is probably because the Swedish name is älg. Elk is actually a german word.

It's called Elk in Europe and Moose in North America.

In Sweden it's called, 'sending a prize photograph' and in North America it is called 'not sending a prize photograph'.
