Man, it is NOT safe to go out in the woods today. After all the rain, these high winds are bringing trees down all over the place. Fortunately no major injuries locally, since the hospital is running on generator power - which means for x-ray we're down to one portable and a processor.

But, by God we've got our internet, eh? The T1 feeds straight in here from CDA and we are good to go. heh People may flail in the dark all over town, but I can sneak in to check the boards on my lunch break. All hail Technologia.

Last year, when it was down around 10F, the power was out for 11 hours in one stretch. If you didn't have wood or gravity-flow oil heat you were out in your truck trying to get warm. Always fun.

I need my DDR, though. Can't Dance Dance Revolution without no 'lectricity, Jack. The old lady videoed me without my knowledge last night whilst I was bopping to some eerily-high-voiced Japanese teenager squawling about I-don't-know-what. Yeah... that shit aint EVER getting loose on the internet. Sorry.

Naw man, my power hasn't went out but the day's not over yet. Going to work was a fucker though. The flats by the old mission was the worst, the wind was really whipping through blowing my car to and fro.
