Sensitive skin

My daughter has always had sensitive skin, but recently she seems to be getting worse, rashes and whatnot. We've changed soaps (laundry and body types) and that seems to be doing the trick to a degree and Kellie heard that cotton is heavily pesticided so she's looking into "organic" cotton for sheets and clothes. Has any asylum parents out there in asylum land had any experiance whith this type thing or have any other suggestions?

Have her checked for allergies. You'd be surprised how many things some kids can be allergic to. A good allergy doc can find out if and what she might need to avoid.

boil your daughter in a large vat full of water for about 20 minutes, that should take care of it

I was thinking about putting her down and breeding a tougher one, but I already have four years invested into this one. Plus Kellie didn't think it was a good idea since she's the one that would have to pop out another one.

I have to shave weekly, because my face can't stand more often than that.

Antihistamines (atarax) are the cornerstone of symptomatic relief.

Urticaria? A dermatologist will provide the answers you need.

shes allergic to white trash. her system must have been resisting it thus far but more than likely gave in due to sheer overload.

She should drink copious amounts of horse urine. It is said that it will cure about anything...wait...they are talking about leather. Nevermind.

you should also try a water softener/purifier, both for your washing machine and whatever shower she uses. after moving to NC, both my husband and myself started having a lot of skin issues because the water there was horrible. perhaps your city has changed the way it processes its water.

HAHAHAHAHA! Yeah, maybe like St Maries, Pinehurst has recently changed the hardware cloth screen that filters out the bigger lumps of beaver shit.

Dude, yeah if you get rid of scented products that come in contact with the skin and she's still reacting a trip to the allergist is the way to go.

Already ditched the smelly soap and that helped, but sometimes she still gets hives or rashes, although less frequently. Dr. Bronner soap is nice, even I use that and have noticed my skin feeling better. Nixed the milk. I'm somewhat allergic to milk unless I half It with Hershey's syrup, so I figured the kids might be sensitive to that. We're trying to nail it down ourselvs but iffin it doesn't get better, I'll pony up the $20 copay and get her checked out. It's not bad, but I don't want her to be to uncomfortable, besides, what's childhood without some discomfort.

Go for the allergist. My younger son was allergic to half the things on god's green earth. Even with meds, I don't think the poor kid ever actually breathed through his nose until he hit his teens. Not to mention the rashes.
But the allergist helped a LOT.

The beds are new, well the oldest is five years old, but when the youngest is potty trained, they're out. And the carpets. It's near impossible to maintain carpet clenliness with toddlers.

My daughter doens't appear to have any illergic reactions, but I sure do.

Not only do I live in the [purposely] cold and dry environment, when you mix that with formeldahyde, which (use to be?) found in fabric softeners and in some detergents, (Sunlight, ABC) that made for a walking infection-ated Barbie. Blech.

Tide Rocks! Tide HE, the best - less suds.

Downy Fabric Softner, liquid - Vanilla is very good.

Boiled water. Drink boiled water (cooled down of course) instead of bottled water through osmosis.

Increase protein, decrease carbs.
