Black comics generally annoy me, because the vast majority of them center their acts around race, and the differences between black and white people. "Black people say this, but a white person would say this". It's old and tired. Granted, some do/did it well and are very funny (Chapelle, Murphy, Prior, Rock), they have other stuff, but they still often rely on the same old black/white crap.

Now take Ron White for example, who is my current favorite comedian. I don't think i've ever heard him mention race in his acts. I don't think it could even really work for a white dude.

But as paint mentioned, this wasn't racial humor, it was just racist anger.

Just because the gangbanger mentality is used by some black comedians to appeal to their audience and the the 'nigger' is used by them more frequently than the word "the", it doesn't mean that it should be emulated by other comedians, especially comediens of another ethnicity.

a) It is not the place of white comediens to call black ones on the carpet for their use of what is otherwise considered an epithet. That has to come from within their ranks, and has from the likes of Chris Rock.

b) What is bullshit is trying to equate what was clearly a tirade unleashed by a man, whose racist inclination was brought to the surface by rage, to some version of sauce for the gander. Hell, Lucid, Richards knows what he did was wrong, why don't you?

Now the question is whether the Alabama porch monkeys he was yelling at are gonna try and sue him to get some bling. Reasonable people need to think about this stuff.

I just watched the whole video. Before I had only seen the part of it on TV.

I see it seemed to start AFTER they had done whatever they did to piss him off. At the end they threatened him and called him a cracka.

Well yes, that's obviously what he was thinking at the time. Problem
