To create a thread similar to another is forgivable, Barbie, but to emulate a thread created by Smug is a transgression that is never to be forgiven.
Each someone copies Smug the toilet eats another cat. Everyone knows that.

You've just condemned us to a flood of cat haters impersonating Smug.

We're having the rainiest month on record ever, and I'm sitting on a hill listening to all the stupid motherfuckers in the lowlands near the rivers complain about getting flooded out.
The government should forcibly remove every idiot living on a flood plain and refuse to give them disaster aid for being such morons.

Just decline to rescue them, or evacuate them. That will teach the lesson more quickly than anything else they could do.

We already tried that after Katrina. Doesn't work apparently.

There's one little town up here who's name escapes me right now that is going to move the entire town up into the nearby hills because they are tired of flood damage every year. These folks deserve all the aid that can be given. At least the aid will only have to be given once instead of annually.
Alll I know is when I had to catch a rowboat to work instead of the bus, I'd be moving to higher ground real quick.

It's snowing like a bitch up here right now. This is the first real pre-Christmas snow we've gotten in a decade or so. Some rain is comming down now with the snow, so it'll probably melt off this afternoon. But still it's awesome for this place.
It used to snow all the time when I was a kid, and it would usually stick for a week or so. Now with global warming, snow is a rarity here, hardly ever lasting through the day. It never gets cold enough anymore.
