Asylum Get-together 2001??

Well, what about it? I know we have all met one person here and there, but what about everyone, in one city, over one long weekend?

It would be tough to find a city that could keep us all busy and give us enough stuff to do so we don't kill each other, but I'm sure some good suggestions could be thought of that might make it work.

I'm thinking Vegas (really cheap, plus we can have a scavenger hunt down GaryColeman), or New Orleans (we could all crash at Logan's house) or maybe Arizona somewhere (again cheap and Wonder can show us his stones).

What do you guys think? We could make it for late summer next year so plenty of planning can take place.

Let me know and if you're not interested, that's fine too. Of course, I'm assuming I would be invited...

I hate to repeat myself, but the obvious answer here is the AsylumMobile, a school bus specially equipped to be a rolling Asylum Commune, travelling from city to city, delivering Asylum goodness to all good little boys and girls. Right now it would have to be restricted to the western hemisphere, at least until somebody fills in the bering strait.

and yes, it has to have a portapotty. and handrails on the roof, too.

I can probably pick one up cheap, my neighbors seem to have plenty lying around in their yards.

{edit: I'll be damned if that isn't my 666th post. I think this is an omen. Start passing the hat for the down payment on the AsylumMobile}

Vegas is the obvious choice because where in the world is it cheaper to get plane tickets and hotels?

Shit for $200 i could get round trip and a hotel from MN, granted thats during the week though. We could save everyone alot of money if we did it during the week...
