My prayer is thankfulness that this was found before he had a possible heart attack. I know the seriousness of the surgeries as my own father had not only one bipass but two seperate times within a year. He lived on to enjoy seeing his grandchildren and great grandchildren. He was very active, too. Be assured that prayers will go up for John, his family, and the surgeons.

Hey guys, I just wanted to give a quick update: I talked to LF on the phone tonight and the surgeon found a 3rd blockage, so he's going to have triple bypass on Friday. He's going to find out what time tomorrow. I read the 1st 15 comments on this thread to him and it was the first time he laughed all day! Thanks very much for your support. It's friggin' awesome...no doubt about that. I'm going to talk to him again tomorrow night before the surgery, so I'll make sure to read more of any comments that any of his good friends here leave for him. Take care and will update tomorrow night.

P.S. - Oh Simple Simon, I wanted you to know that I'm doing just fine and I'm down 26lbs post-op from 14 days ago. Thanks for asking.

Good news all round, Tow. I am glad you are doing well, I have some idea of the courage that decision took, and I really doubt that you'll ever regret it. Tell John to hurry up and get that surgery behind him, so he can get on with his really important job - entertaining us.
