so MANY things wrong with this movie.

how the crap do you justify using lowell from wings for sandman? i mean, he's fucking lowell.

eddie brock was a pussy. venom should NOT be a pussy.

emospidey did a good job of evoking crispin glover's role as the thin man. any character who got his ass handed to him by drew barrymore, even charlie's angels drew, is not someone you want to come across like.

kirsten dunst: much too thin. what the hell happened? she didn't use to be so skinny, did she? failed to turn in as appealing a performance as she did with 'drop dead gorgeous'.

summary: the next time i watch this movie will be when someone talks me into a weekend trilogy marathon and i can't work them around to aliens.

The problem as I see it, is the tendency of many comic fans to think that a decent movie working of a comic book is some kind of masterpiece.
Accept the fact that they made a decent movie from less than a masterwork of source material and be happy.
Quit trying to put any Spiderman movie in the same ballpark as Taxi Driver or The Bicycle Thief. Those are A movies. It ain't gonna happen.
