After the uk's recent Celebrity Big Brother international racism row, a contestant has been quickly ejected from the latest BB for calling a black contestant "nigger".

They screened it tonight. Emily comes across as easily one of the sweeter girls in the house. But she is semi-posh and naive and I believe was trying to be savvy and street. She said it in a friendly context. She said her black friends even call her nigger. She was in shock at her 3.30am eviction.

The playing out of this story (e.g. a potential redemption) might have been more informative and beneficial to all. British tv is losing its edge.

Well, I don't know if that was the end of the story, or if there was more. If that was the end, the black lady missed one helluva opportunity to rise above the bullshit. Imagine the possibilities had she gone to the contest authorities and insisted they allow Emily back into the contest.

It's truly a shame.

The black lady said she really wasn't offended, and kept saying so for the next 7-8 hours, making it clear she was as offended as hell. This precipitated whitey's removal. After that, blacky's only concern was how many tabloid front pages she had clinched. And that seems about the depth of the entire household.

What a farce. She wasn't racist, she was daft as a brush. It was a stupid ignorant thing to say (considering that the shows producers would kick-out anyone first opp due to the 'racist' incidents that happened in the celebrity version of this show).

What is laughable is that Charley wasn't so much offended by it. In fact a few hours later, she wasn't that bothered. It was only after Emily was removed from the house that she decided to milk it thinking the public (like they did with that Asian actress) would feel sympathetic towards her.

Instead, shes made herself look a cunt. More so, considering the BB house is full of them.

Probably a set-up anyway.
