Phorbs, I truly wish I could help you in some way to get through this really hard time. Would it be possible to bartend only on the weekends when Splat has the kids? Sounds like you need to scale back what you're doing during the week so that you can take better care of yourself and sleep more -- you can neither provide for nor take good care of your kids if you're exhausted and sick. Also, it may be difficult for you to drive hard bargains and get paid what you're worth, but remind yourself it's not for you, it's for the midgets. Best of luck finding a work partner who is honest and has a good head for running things.
