I always wondered about that horse with the hand measuring and all that. What if you're SS? How would you know where exactly your hand was?

The hands thing as regards horses I've known since I was a kid. I'd like to see a 22 hand high horse, if such existed. I rode a 17 hand tall thoroughbred/tennessee walker horse that belonged to a neighbor often as a kid - smoothest gaited, fastest damned animal I've ever been astride.
