killer robots! run!

ever seen the show BattleBots on comedy central? or better yet, Robot Wars, as hosted by Lister on PBS? ever thought, "that stupid bastard can't drive for shit", "what a lame idea for a robot!", or "wow, i could do much better than that"?

tack and i (mostly tack, wily bastard) have discussed the merits of robot building in private, as well at the possibility of a forum robot. pooling of talent, money and time can make something fairly nasty, we're sure. is anyone else interested in wholesale destrution by remote? have anything to lend? ideas, advice, help?
