Interesting story. My neighborhood ain't the best, but it is nowhere near as violent as you describe yours as being. I live on a busy corner in a residential neighbohood, the intersection is controlled by lights all 4 ways, and people (especially cops) run them constantly, often at 50+ mph (speed limit is 35). I've seen two serious accidents between cars there, and watched a guy on a bike get broadsided (he had a green light) and killed one afternoon. Other than that just lots of screaming fights carried into the streets, lots of drunk and/or high noisy clowns, and the guy across the street shot his mother one morning.

Just life in the city. Dealing with cops is really annoying, at the best of times.

Nice Read......I once lived in an all black section of Jacksonville, Fl for a period of time. One of those places where people came to kill their victims or dump the bodies. Made for colorful late nights.

now we have cops every night. It's getting to be a thing; a whole party atmosphere. Two of the cops are cool, the rest are all toilet scum.
