Pinecrika, please, whatever you do - don't try to drink your way through this. Pouring a depressant down your throat to treat depression leads to drunkenly eating a bullet.

In all honestyr, I wish you'd gather up all the guns, and take them to your Mom's place, ask them to lock them away. Keep the bows, spend more time improving your archery skills. While not impossible, suicide with an arrow is more difficult.

I've been through that some. My kids followed their mom as she chased career opportunities.

It sucked.

It got better.

Take this chance to improve yourself, your lifestyle, your home, your job, or whatever it is that is keeping you from providing a home to your children, and deal with it. I had to work two jobs for a couple of years while paying off debt. I quit drinking because it got in the way of my goals and never improved any situation except with ugly women, and I've recently doubled my income with one job. I now have custody of my son, but my daughter elected to stay at her mom's for now.

Maintain daily contact with your kids, try to stay involved in their schoolwork, behavior and attendance.

Force yourself to maintain a respectful and courteous relationship with your ex, and remain as accessible as possible for her; that will make coordinating visits a lot smoother, as well as, eventual custody transfer down the road when she fucks up again.

... could be worse Pinecrika, mate of mine ( English chap, lives in Holland ) had to stand back and witness his kids getting moved to the other side of the world ( Melbourne, fucking Australia ).

Get yourself a camper van and go and pick them up for a holiday every once in a while, or something.
