I need to apologize....his "Instant Artist Version 3" digital portrait software did a fine job of REPRODUCING your existing digital image.
It's amazing what a computer can do with the right piece of software.

Actually, Lanin, I draw the base portraits with a #2 mechanical pencil, scan them, and complete the shading and detail using Corel Paintshop Pro. But you think what you want.

I have to say, Lanin, that when I started this little project I was very, very rusty. I had not done any serious art in many years. My art had been confined to cartooning pretty much. I didn't have much inspiration to do more than that until I got the idea for this.

lanin, the technique that TT is using is very similar to what i use on digital paintings, although TT is using cheap amateur kiddie software intended for housewives to crop photos of their kids playing soccer.
the interface of a graphics tablet (which I believe is what TT is using) is very different to traditional mediums like ink, paint, charcoal, etc, but when that pen is in your hands, you're still confined by the same amount of talent (or lack thereof) as you are with traditional mediums.
i think TT has talent; his biggest problem is that he isn't open to criticism.
