ones and zeros

ok .. so here it is. my grand and wonderfull 1k post.

I would like to take just a moment of time to reflect a little.
I've been here in this forum since here was there. and I was there before all but a few of you. the point being, that even though my posts are not as frequent as most, I've read nearly every word every person has ever posted here (on the public parts anyway.. I know there's a whole back side of this place that most of us never get to see .. or maybe that's just the fear of conspiracy my hippy mother put in me when I was a baby coming out), and even though it's all just a bunch of ones and zeros I still feel as though I've gotten to know a few of you. thanks I guess.

here's to many more ones and zeros flashed across all our screens.

Posts don't matter to me... they don't make a person any cooler in my eyes... The same person that has 1000 once had only 1. The only thing that changes is experience, and I don't care too much about who has it and who doesn't either.

I don't think I'll hit 1k. I thought about going for it but then, no. You see, this is the truth, I can no longer hide it from you, my fellow inmates. If and when I reach 1k, I will die. In fact, I die a little with every post. So, by the time I reach 1k, I will have breathed my last breath. Now, I know that some of you would embrace this change...there are times that I would embrace it as well. However, I think that I should keep myself alive for a while. I've been here since forever and there are lots of other people that are way ahead of me in terms of post count. Oh well, that's ok cuz it's not the big post numbers that matter. Well, I should have been asleep like 3 hours ago...damned pills aren't working. Oh well, I'll d/l some more stuff from Napster. Bye.
