Quite possibly the poorest televison the world has ever seen!

Once upon time in the oh so distance 1980's there was a TV show. It called 'The Legend of Tim Tyler'. It was a german show I believe, dubbed (very badly might I add) into english.

To tell the story briefly. Tim is a young lad who has a very irritating laugh. He laughs at anything. In the first episode he knocks an old lady over and then laughs in her face. Anyway the other character is an evil man called the Baron. The Baron cannot laugh and is very powerful.

The Baron tells Tim that he will give him the power to win any bet he makes in return for his laugh. Tim then spends 24 absolutely dire episode trying to get his laugh back.

The most painful part of this story is that it is only in the final episode that he realises that to egt his laugh back all he has to do is say 'I bet I can laugh'.

Damn I hated that show.

I don't know Spook...they've been showing a British SERIES (!!!) here called "World's Worst Home Handymen" (or something like that).
They visit homes and show how badly people do home repairs.
I'd say that must be a fairly close second to your nomination.

Me too, Spook.
But I can't understand how some TV executive somewhere thought this a good idea for more than one show...it seems to have been on every week for eons.
Mostly these guys are clones of each other...thick, inarticulate and they scare their families every time they go near a hammer.
I actually watched 10 minutes of one episode once. I thought I was in some kind of parallel universe or something...I'm not joking, but it was about this guy who liked to brick up windows...curtains not hanging straight? Brick up the window. Need new kitchen cupboards? Brick up the window.
Surreal.
