I could be the chickenman, i could if i wanted to...

*more ranting from brimstone*

7pm-2am shifts, no breaks, every customer complaint imagineable. You wouldn't believe what these people come up with and how determined they can be. I bust my ass for $6.40/hour here in Rhode Island. Used to make $7.75/hour back in Massachusetts.

There's plenty of jobs out there, I sure as hell didn't want to fall back to working at a video store after the 8 months i put in as a shift leader last year.

So I Quit my job today

I've been sick the past 2 days, haven't eaten, haven't done much of anything except go to class yesterday. I had temp of 100 last night and woke up this morning with my lips rips apart from drying up, a sore throat, cough, stomach hurting, and my head spinning.

I slept from 5pm yesterday to 12pm today waking up every couple of hours b/c i felt like i had to puke or had a some type of coughing attack. I called in today about 2 hours before my shift was supposed to start and I was told to either find a replacement, come in, or don't bother coming ever again. Of course every night i work it's always myself and the Assistant Manager on, the only other 2 CSR's available for night shifts work every night I'm not and neither are home.

Every night I'm on - 2 people
Every other night - 3 or more

So when it comes down to me having to call up yet again after no luck with the other 2, I tell em I can't find a replacement, she says "ok", and I tell the stuttering tard that I'll be in to pick up my paycheck tomorrow and then hang up on her.

Life's grand, Who wants to adopt me?
