I need your professional opinion. You could save me $1,500.

I signed up fo an ICS course awhile ago, and they just sent me my first module.

What are your opinions on ICS? Would a potential employer in the field of computers take an ICS degree seriously?

I wan't to know before I shell out the coin, and I trust the advice of the Asylumites.

My brother took a course through them for PC hardware. He took it cause it came with a computer. He works in a supermarket. Selling meat. The computer was a Cyrix 586-66. With a 14" monitor. No reputable company would acknowledge an ICS certificate. Sorry.

Thermador is correct, correspondence schools are not much of a consideration to decent employers.
For a lot less money you can get a diploma for about anything. I will get you an addie out of my junk mail for one if you want. The big employers will be as happy with one of those as an ICS diploma.
Hell, you can be a Bishop for $75.00 in the Universal Life Church.

That's the general consensus of my other techie buddies from back home.

Needless to say, ICS is out. Like a tequila fart in june.
