AsylumArt is the new forum on the block ... a showcase for member's original works. We've had several suggestions recently, a couple of them in these two threads (12), asking about ways we could promote and highlight member's contributions. This forum will be a little different in that fairly heavy moderation will be available to stay within the guidelines. Speaking of moderating, we picked four excellent ones for this:
brimstone
CAL
Postmodgirl
Roshigoth
So if you've done a painting, or sculpture, or have some original photos, or a 3-D model, or anything else along these lines, bring it in and post it for all to see. Over the next few days, expect to see some threads from IoD transferred into AsylumArt. Eventually, we'll be incorporating this forum into plans for a new area of the web site!

Hehe... expect me to spam it quite a bit.. but that's okay, I'm one of the mods.
Seriously, though. Please do check it out and post your stuff (if you've got stuff) here.
As for the IoD becoming the hentai ghetto, well, not really. Basically, anything not made by Asylum people still goes in the IoD. That leaves more than hentai. Take a look around in there...

Not sure I understand why this is a problem... the legal and copyright notices are there to protect everyone ... where the notice describes granting a "sublicense" to material posted here, it doesn't mean we take ownership of it. It indicates we reserve the right to keep it on the site indefinitely.
Edit: The legal notice and privacy policy apply everywhere on the site.
