My parents remember where they were when they heard that Kennedy died. I remember were I was when I heard that Chris Farley had died.

My wife and I were driving around Oahu in the free rental car we got from sitting through a 45 minute time-share selling spiel. It was after DiamondHead and the Dole Plantation, but before the NorthShore Burger house.

Shocking for sure. I wonder if my 'rents felt the same when they heard about Belushi?

It's sad he died early I suppose, but I didn't dig him. Most of his skits on SNL seemed to consist of him being sweaty and falling on a piece of collapsable furniture.

I fell upon the Farley pics which were posted in the image forum... unfortunately.. there is no way that I will click on that link. Everytime I see Chris Farley on television now (re-runs of SNL and such), I picture that photo of him holding the cross...
it's so sad...

In retrospect, I probably should have taken the vanilla icecream. But the chocolate looked far too tempting. Little did I know at the time, it was actually little children all mushed up into a fine icey paste. Needless to say, I didn't sleep well that night, and neither did those kiddies. Well, I didn't stand for such a crime!! NO WAY. I marched back in that store and demamded an explanation. And there is was. Double chocolate icecream. Sitting there, waiting to be ingested. Oh, the taste. Oh the pure orgasmic feeling when you consume the delicious cream. Oh, how I love chocolate icecream.
