Post Trumpeting elephants

Yes.
That is the sound my Maltese/Shih Tzu cross has managed to emulate.
At 3am.
She is 6 inches long.
I don't know about you, but it all seems wrong and broken to me.
My retriever puppy whimpered for 5 minutes but realised game over was a short time later. What is it with these cutsie breeds?
Mind you, I've already bought her a Barbie food dish.
Where will it end?

absolut, let her sleep in bed with you.
once i relented with my lhasa apso, sidney do, she now sleeps quietly cuddled against me, and she has never had an accident on the bed
i know its silly to let a dog share your bed, but i find it comforting in a sick and twisted way
the foo foo breeds require WAY more attention and they expect to be waited on, as if they are royalty. once you accept this and become her servant, your life will be easier

that's what happens when you inhumanely breed animals to produce "cute" deformities. They lose their natural adaptations and become entirely dependent on mankind for their survival.

just wait til the new breeds come out that some wily genetic engineers come up with in response to consumer demand. We'll have the cutest little living teddy bears. but they'll all have to be hand fed, their tear ducts will have to be manually cleared, and you'll have to wipe their butts every time they take a shit because their fur is too long in all the wrong places.

sorry. i just loathe little dogs and most other pets that lack the natural abilities to fend for themselves.

My Cocker doesn't sleep with me, he sleeps in his crate. My new Doxie puppy sleeps with me though. He's so damn cute, how could I be away from him? *sigh*

However, if you play with your new one a lot during the day, he should be quite tired at night. BUT don't hold him all the time b/c then when you try to put him down to go to sleep he's not going to shut up!!!!

You can always listen to Chelle and me though and just give in and snuggle. They're the best, they want nothing more then kisses, love and food.

Sorry but I'm with WP on this one. Those aren't really dogs, they are barking rats.
the only advantage that I ever saw to those breeds is that when they finally do the right thing and die, you can flush them.

I have a big rotty that sleeps in my parents bed, he rarely sleeps elsewhere.

When we first got him he cried and cried until my mom gave in and let him sleep in their bed, problem is rotties get huge... so 3 years and 150 pounds later my dog still sleeps in my parents bed.

Oh, and I would very much like to own a living teddy bear, but only if had fangs and could be trained to drink the blood of my enemies on command.
